The dancer’s sky-blue dress and warm skin glow out of the darkness, framed by rough strokes of copper and smoky grey that follow the swing of her skirt. She dances barefoot, eyes half closed, entirely absorbed in the moment – color and black creating a strong, almost theatrical contrast.
